I've given surprises and gotten surprises this week!
Daniel sent me a musical card. I love it when he is romantic and sentimental...It doesn't happen often so I felt the need to document the occasion.
Elizabeth and I threw surprise baby shower for Laurel. This is the
awesome cake Elizabeth made. Everyone was in awe of her talent. She is pretty amazing. Laurel was
definitely surprised. We told her it was a pool party at aunt
Helen's house, so she came a little under dressed, but she got over it soon enough. (actually, I think it really
embarrassed her, she isn't one to be under dressed...EVER!)
This is the fruit display I made. I got the idea from Jana, my sister in law, and I found a delicious fruit dip recipe to go with it. It was also a hit, though paled in comparison to
Beth's cake. Mom made the blue punch, also very yummy.
After the party died down, Catherine was all tuckered out and she found aunt Laurels belly a nice place to rest.

VERY NICE JOB! The kabob looks great, and tell your sister that cake is AWESOME...such detail! You look cute in that pic as well. I give the whole thing 110%!
