Daniel and I got a dutch oven for Christmas. We like to do "both of us" gifts. Things that we both want. We have not had the opportunity to use it yet. But, I got bored the other day and decided that I was going to make an apple cobbler, with the dutch oven, IN THE OVEN!!! It turned out good, but it took FOREVER!! I enjoyed myself though, so it was worth it. I will be doing it the proper way soon, with charcoals soon, I hope!
