Red Robin Rocks!!
Daniel and I were a little stir crazy last night, so we decided to go out to dinner. I thought it would be fun to take them to Red Robin. I figured that they would really like the atmosphere there. I was right, they loved it! They just looked at everything in awe. Clare really liked the merry-go-round "pony" they have on display, and Red Robin himself greeting all of the kids. We decided that every time we go out to dinner it will be to Red Robin, and here is why: Usually when we tell a server about Clare's allergies, they just looks at us and say "huh?". Not this time. The sever told us he would go and get the manager for us. The manager came out and handed us lists of recommended menu items for peanut and milk allergies!!! I was AMAZED! Never before have we been so understood at a restaurant. We were able to just look at the list and pick something! They cooked Clares fries in fresh oil and everything! She could even eat the hamburger bun! We usually have to order just the patty, so it was a real treat for her to have a bun. Even more to my surprise, when the waiter brought us our receipt, which is also how he places your order for the cook it read underneath Clares order "ALLERGY ALERT". They took such good care of us that I asked for a comment card and praised them. Usually it is very frustrating to try and eat out with Clare, but I felt very relaxed this time. I felt confident that they were taking it seriously. It was AWESOME!

You gotta love Red Robin!
Wow! That's amazing! I actually just went to Red Robin tonight and it was great. They gave Isabelle 2 ballons and she was happy the whole time. Good to hear that you found somewhere you can go without worrying.
That is great. We went to RR for Nicks bday, and the service was great. I always get mad at resturants bc they bring the kids food last. I asked the server to bring us the kids food as soon as it was done. They did. That way they eat and are happy. RR is really a great resturant. I am glad they catered to Clare.
I'm so glad you posted this! Bryan and I went to Albany yesterday and we wanted to go to RR and I was so glad we were able to, it was so yummy and dairy free for my little monkey :)
