Car accident

I used to consider myself an excellent driver. That all changed on June 5Th 2010. I had just bought a ticket to meet Corey Feldman and on my way home I rear ended someone. The kids were really scared and I seriously injured...my pride. Other than that we are all okay. I think the scariest part for the kids was the loud noise, then the car filling with dust the air bags are coated in. They were pretty shaken up. I could not stop crying. The cop that came didn't give me any tickets, and I think it's because I was such a mess.
This was our beloved Honda Accord. We had it for 5 years and we would have driven it till it was dead. It never had any major problems and it had 216,000 mile on it!
This is our new 2001 Toyota Sequoia. We love it! We are so much more comfortable with all the extra room.We drove it on the beach a few days after we bought it, and now that is one of our favorite things to do.
The kids really like the new car. Driving on the beach is one of their favorite things to do. Max always talks about how Mommy broke the car and got a new one.We put the kids in the 3rd row seat for a few weeks and let me tell you, it was so nice to have them further away from my ears! They can get REALLY loud in the car. We moved them up to the middle row now, so we have more room in the back.

I wanted to try driving on the beach, but I am WAY to chicken to ever do it without Daniel. Daniel stood with his head out the sun roof to take this picture. Over all, the accident just made it so we bought a new car a little sooner than we planned. Although, I wish some body would have hit me instead... I feel pretty dumb.

Riiight, Cami... we've all 'accidentally' ruined a shirt or two in the wash (usually our husband's) in order to force a new purchase we've been wanting... I've just never heard of taking it to the level of purposely endangering you, your kids, and some poor stranger in order to get your new car. I mean, sheesh! :)
