First of all, I need to talk about Daniel. He really enjoys cooking. I know! I am lucky! He is a very good cook, and has a natural knack for it. He bakes well also. He learned how to make bread while he was a missionary in Alabama, and he can now make a loaf of bread without even following a recipe, he just wings it! It's because he understands the science of the process and ingredients. He's also a grill master. We have a small cast iron hibachi grill that we use the heck out of! We grill in any weather out on our patio. We picnic in any weather with our grill in tow. Pretty much, Daniel can cook anything. If something doesn't turn out, he tries again. It's something we like to do together as well. (sometimes he looks over my shoulder and critiques me, which results in me yelling at him.) Overall, we have fun together in the kitchen.
Daniel and I really like eating fish. Pretty much any and all seafood.(He likes octopus, I do NOT.) He came across a YouTube how to video one day when we were looking for a new salmon recipe. He's been itching to try it ever since. Below is the fruit of his labor. It was so yummy. He made steaks and tied them together with butchers twine, dipped them in a dry rub, and grilled it. YUM.
