For valentines days we made PINK rice crispy treats. The kids thought it was really fun. I wanted them to be REALLY pink, so I added a lot of food coloring. So, if you use about 1/2 a tsp. of neon pink food coloring, this is what you get. My kids love adding food coloring to food. It's an easy way to entertain them. I have plans for St. patty's day cookie decorating that should be lots of fun.
Daniel bought Clare and I roses. Clare felt really special that her Daddy bought her a flower. She loved it. The look on her face was priceless, I wish I could have filmed it. She looked so sweet. She was smiling so daintily and sniffing her rose, she loves her Daddy. And just for fun we put red food coloring in the vase water. Also, don't worry, he didn't leave Max out! He brought Max a hostess cupcake, which went over very well. He's a thoughtful Daddy.
Clare got to do a valentines exchange at school today. She was so excited. She talked about it all weekend. When I told her this morning that today was the valentine exchange, she got ready to go faster than she ever has before. It was cute.
