Picnic fun

Picnicking is our thing. We love to picnic. Rain or shine. We love picnicking so much we did it 2 days in a row last weekend. This is at our favorite picnic spot, at Fort Stevens. We took my nephew and niece and our friends who have kids around the same ages as ours. This is Clare and Kaidence. Max and Kilie in the background.
Clare, Kailia, Max, Kaidence, and Kilie.
How's that pickle Hanna?

This is one of the reasons we like to picnic here. It is undercover and has a huge fire pit to keep us warm.

Picnic day 2. Much colder and foggier

We didn't really plan to picnic this time around, so we just grabbed what we had....ham and cheese sandwiches. Now let me tell you why this was so yummy. We used fresh ham steaks, not lunch meat, Tillamook habenero cheese AND Tillamook cheddar, all on fresh homemade bread. I am not sure how my nephew and niece felt about theses sandwiches, but hey were TASTY!
I think my niece took this picture because I don't unknowingly end up in pictures very often...but here I am, slicing the cheese.

It was really fogy and beautiful. We were at the summit on hwy 30 between the valley and the coast. Beautiful views!

Ooh, that looks like fun (and yummy food too)! I also love to picnic, however, I am still working on instilling that love on my little family. Maybe this will be the year!

Love the blog. Love you guys. Still bummed I didn't see you in Astoria.

As for the slicing the cheese picture.....At least you weren't "cutting" the cheese. Sniff, Clare is that you? HeHE

ok heres a comment for you. Is that gap hoodie Max is wearing ours perhaps? I have been missing one of Tanners and it is my fave. The hat that Clare is wearing looks familiar too! Maybe I am going crazy.
