Animals

Clare LOVES animals. When we moved to the coast, we started to buy her these Schleich brand animal figures. She absolutely loves them. I love to buy them for her, because they really seem to encourage imaginative play. She has a lot more, I just don't know where she has stashed them. Silly girl. Max likes them too, he is just more in to trucks,cars and spider man at the moment.

A few days ago I put this movie on for the kids. I highly recommend it! They thought it was "really cool". Daniel and I had so much fun listening to the observations they made as they watched it. All the oohs and ahhs were so funny! They made some great observations that I would never have expected them to say. The music in this movie is awesome. It's really well done.

We bought this book for Clare at Goodwill and it is the best $5 I have ever spent. She loves to sit and do the animal searches. The pages look like the cover. It gives brief facts about the animal, then it says how many of the animal you will find in the picture. She goes all the way around the page until she has done them all. She really likes it when I do it with her so I can read the facts to her.
