Fun times...

This is a big post, but I have a lot of cute pictures that I cant resist posting! I know people don't think my life is very interesting but I think of this as my journal so just bear with me. This blog is mostly for me so I can document my children's lives, but also a way to keep those interested up to date on us. This is Max being curious!
He is always sooooo smiley!!! He practically never stops!!
Caught red handed! She loves bread!
Wearing Daddy's tie.
Playing with Daddy at the park. He was here for fathers day and Clare was so happy to have him.
Clare got a big girl bed! She really likes it and it was a very easy transition...So far. The potty training is also going good. At this point it is more like potty practicing. She uses the potty once or twice a day, then we stop. I don't want to stress her out.(or me for that matter!)
I decided to go in to get Daniel at the airport. It was midnight and my kids were tired but very interested in the atmosphere around them. The picture is blurry but Clare just looked and stared at him like "is it really you?" She was attached to his hip the whole day!
Patiently waiting!!!
On fathers day we went to the park. It is right by a river and Clare really likes to go throw rocks in the water.
Then she decided to get in. She cracks us up!! She makes me laugh every day. On Sunday her nursery leader leader told us that she really "holds her own with the 3 year olds!" They said that most of the younger ones cry over everything and have to be held, but not her! She just gets up or moves on from whatever happens. No need to kiss her boo boos! And Daddy is definitely wrapped around her finger! On the flip side, she is also wrapped around his! I really feel that Daddy daughter relationships are different that father son relationships. Same with mothers and sons. I think that is a good thing because fathers and mothers have different roles in the home and different relationships need to be nurtured in different ways. Daniel cant wait to take Max scouting and things like that, and can't wait to dance with Clare at her wedding. I am not saying he loves one more than the other, of course not!!! Same with me! Max and I have a different bond than Clare and I, But we love both of our children more than breathing! I'm not sure I'm conveying what I mean so I give up. If you get what I mean, good, if not, sorry I can't explain better. Sometimes I get overcome with my thoughts and emotions, so sorry about the rant.

That picture of Dan and Claire at the airport got me all misty. What a reunion it must have been.
