10 months old and walking

Well, I did not encourage this at all. I must say that I am completely taken off guard by this. I was not expecting him to start walking yet. He is barely 10 months old this week. I did not teach him this!!! In fact, I was kind of hoping that he would be a late walker. Well, He decided that he needs to keep up with Clare I guess because he went from taking 2 or 3 steps to walking across the room just this week. It has all happened very fast. Despite feeling a little nervous about having 2 walkers, I am immensely proud and excited at the same time. Being a mommy is the most wonderful and rewarding job there is. It is such a thrill to see my kids learning new things, and taking the first steps is one of the most thrilling moments, even the second time around. It's amazing to me that you never know what you are capable of until you have to do it. Moms have super powers, I am convinced. I am sure that I can adapt to this new turn of events and will have no trouble in learning what I need to do to keep up with 2 walkers now. Instincts kick into full throttle and you just do what you have to do. HOWEVER, don't look at me for any new babies any time soon :)
