Fun and mischief...

We had a lot of fun playing with play-doh the other day. I got some things from the kitchen and helped her make shapes and animals and imprint it with neat things. She had a really good time.
She is such a goof ball!!
Poke and squish, more poking and squishing....
She went through each color in the box, one at a time so as not to mix them together the way I did as a child...
Later that day she helped me make bread. She had a lot of fun helping me measure, dump and mix. Daniel LOVES to make bread, and after learning of Clare's allergy he took to finding milk free recipes. This particular recipe we got from our sister in law Christal. There is only a handful of store bought breads that do not contain milk in one form or another, and the ones that are milk free are the expensive kinds. So, he makes bread for her. I made this batch and it turned out darker than I wanted it to, but it tasted really good, especially with my mother in laws home made jam. MMMMMM.

Then Clare got into some mischief. You see, I just opened a facebook account, so I was playing around on it. While I was momentarily distracted from motherhood, Clare found a sharpie. This is the result a distracted mother. I take all the fault for this, and Clare did not get into trouble. Call it mommy guilt if you want, but I really should wait until they are in bed to mess around on the computer. I actually was trying really hard not to laugh. I had to make sure I sounded like this was not an good thing for her to do, but inside I was thinking "man oh man , she is HILARIOUS!"

LOL!! I can't totally relate! There was a year (maybe two), when we couldn't have any crayons, markers, etc. down lower than the top of the fridge. I have some great pictures of wall, couch, blanket, and book art that Samuel did. The first time was funny and I felt guilty too. Then I found out that he was hiding crayons, markers, etc. under his changing table to use when I wasn't looking!

oh man...been there seen that!!! I also have to hide any coloring materials. They always manage to get ahold of it anyway to decorate my walls. Right now there is a huge stick figure on the wall right by my front door thanks to miss Eden. Hey, thats a good idea for a post :)

So I watched that video with your kids and the sharpes and had a nightmare last night that I was at church and was passing my baby around, and when I got her back, she was covered in sharpe drawings all over her face, by adults! like flowers and animals and such.. I was soooo mad in my dream, I was just freaking out! Anyways I woke up and realized it was just a dream.. but I thought that was kinda funny
