So, this blog may have become extremely boring for most...Lacking the proper tools to upload pictures puts a real damper on things. So, if you are interested, read on, if not, go away!
I have been cooking a lot more lately, as part of my goals. Stew is so easy I am almost embarrassed that I didn't know that before! Cooking used to feel like such a chore to me, but lately it feels very rewarding. I should say cooking AND baking. I think I always enjoyed baking to cooking, but I'd have to say it's even now.
Organizing is very fun, especially when it involves getting rid of STUFF! I have gotten rid of so much stuff I feel liberated! My children will NEVER have more than 10 outfits at a time again! The kids had so many clothes, mostly hand me downs from friends and family, I was just going crazy with laundry. Things are much more manageable now.
I have not been exercising, reading my scriptures, and don't even get me started on sugar. My planner is being used, but not in the complete way I would like to be using it. I obviously don't blog everyday either.
I am a work in progress. One thing at a time, and it doesn't have to be perfect. I have to tell my self that all the time. I tend to have the attitude of "if I can't do it perfect, why do it at all". This is a BAD way of thinking and I constantly have to over come this.
On another note, I usually have a hard time getting in to the Holiday spirit, and this year is no different. However, I am going to try. I am going to decorate, and force myself to all the Holiday parties I can handle. I find that that is the hardest part for me. I hate having to drive to so many parties I am "obligated" to go to! Do people realize that I live far far away from everything? It's not like I can be anywhere in 30 minutes...oh dear, there's the Grinch in me. Sorry. The point I was trying to make is that I am going to be better this year, for my children's sake. Making happy memories is part of the parental job description. SO HAPPY FREAKING HOLIDAYS! :)

Good post. I love organizing and getting rid of stuff too. Liberating!
Getting rid of stuff is my favorite thing to do! :) I think you are doing great on your goals too! If you did them all 100% then they wouldn't be goals. Plus you've inspired me to make some new goals...even though I don't necessarily do them all either.
If it snows then you won't actually have to drive to all those obligatory parties. You will be free to stay home and enjoy your beef stew in peace due to inclement weather. :)
Can I comment in a different font? no? poop. I hope you're feeling a little bit better than when we saw you last. If brief periods of saturation will help with the holiday spirit, come on over! Christmas music's been blaring since Halloween.
