Exploring!

Yet another video. This is a ride I took last week. It's actually what got me feeling sentimental about John Denver. My kids could play outdoors all day everyday, rain or shine. They will literally spend hours "exploring". My phone ran out of batteries, so the video is cut off. In case anyone wonders what kind of bugs they found at the end of the video, it was potato bugs. I got to explain all about nurse logs (dead logs and stumps that become home to many creatures and plant life) to them after that. (Clare absorbs that kind of thing way more than Max does right now). The point is that the kids really like being outside and are little information sponges. They are both at such fun ages right now. It is so fun to be there Mom! I am so grateful that I decided not to have any more kids this close in age. (not that I am done, or making an announcement). Life is just easy peasy right now! They are so independent, things just are not nearly as stressful as they once were. For the most part, they just play happily without finding mischief or danger. Emphasis on "for the most part".  I am not claiming perfection by any means! They are children after all, who are still very capable of naughtiness and driving there mother up the wall. Everyone has good and bad days right??
